Digital Service Delivery

Gobeens Technology Private Limited provides digital services and software deliverables. We do not ordinarily ship physical goods as part of our software development services. This Policy explains how project deliverables are prepared, tested, provided, and handed over.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to website development, e-commerce development, Android and iOS applications, custom software, SaaS applications, AI automation and integrations, UI/UX design, APIs and technical documentation, and other agreed digital deliverables.

The exact deliverables for each project will be stated in the relevant quotation or agreement.

2. Delivery Methods

Depending on the project, deliverables may be provided through:

  • A client-approved Git repository.
  • Cloud storage or secure file transfer.
  • A staging or testing environment.
  • Deployment to the client's hosting infrastructure.
  • Agreed source-code archives.
  • Design files and documentation.
  • Application builds or release packages.
  • Publication assistance for app stores, where agreed.

The applicable project agreement will determine the final delivery method.

3. Project Timeline

Estimated delivery dates will be specified in the proposal or project agreement. Timelines depend on timely client approvals, availability of content and credentials, scope changes, third-party API access, hosting and infrastructure, testing and defect correction, payment of instalments, and external platform review.

An estimate is not a guarantee of an exact completion date unless the agreement expressly establishes a binding deadline.

4. Client Responsibilities

The client must provide materials and approvals reasonably required for the project, including accurate requirements, text and images, branding, authorized access, API keys, third-party account permissions, timely feedback, approvals, test data, and acceptance criteria where relevant.

The client must ensure that materials supplied to us may lawfully be used for the project.

5. Delays Caused by the Client

If the client delays providing required information, content, credentials, feedback, or approvals:

  • The affected timeline may be extended.
  • Development activities may be rescheduled.
  • Previously allocated resources may no longer be available at the same time.
  • Additional work required because of the delay may be separately quoted.

For prolonged inactivity, the Company may issue written notice and pause or terminate the affected work in accordance with the agreement and applicable law. Where restarting a paused project requires additional work or resource allocation, the parties should agree on any additional charges and revised timelines.

6. Milestone Demonstrations

Depending on the agreed project plan, the Company may demonstrate UI/UX designs, backend functionality, frontend implementation, and the tested project.

A demonstration does not necessarily constitute final delivery, final acceptance, or a transfer of intellectual property. The client must pay instalments according to the agreed payment schedule rather than assuming that every demonstration represents a final handover.

7. Testing and Defect Reporting

Unless otherwise agreed, a 15-day period may be provided for reporting qualifying defects after the relevant delivery or testing milestone.

The client should report defects in writing and include the affected feature, steps to reproduce the issue, expected and actual behaviour, and relevant screenshots, logs, or error messages.

The Company will assess whether the reported issue falls within the agreed scope and defect-correction obligations. New features, additional requirements, third-party outages, unsupported environments, and changes introduced by the client or another developer may fall outside the included defect-correction scope.

8. Client Acceptance

Acceptance criteria should be defined in the applicable project agreement wherever practical. The client should review deliverables promptly and report discrepancies against the agreed specifications.

If a client does not respond to a delivery notice, the Company may follow up and document delivery status. Silence alone will not override mandatory legal rights or an express acceptance procedure required by the contract or applicable law.

9. Source-Code Handover

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, final source-code handover is conditional on payment of all amounts due under the agreed project payment structure.

The Company may retain unpaid handover materials until relevant payment conditions have been satisfied, subject to applicable law and existing contractual rights. Handover includes only materials expressly included in the agreed scope. Third-party software, proprietary internal tools, licensed components, credentials, or infrastructure configurations may be excluded or provided under separate terms.

10. Deployment and External Platforms

Where deployment is included, the Company will perform agreed deployment activities using available access and infrastructure. Third-party platforms such as hosting providers, app stores, cloud services, and external APIs may impose their own approval processes, technical requirements, or service limitations.

We do not control third-party approval decisions or guarantee that an external platform will approve, maintain, or continue supporting a particular application.

11. Domain, Hosting, and Third-Party Charges

Unless expressly included in the quotation, domain registrations and renewals, hosting and cloud infrastructure, third-party software licences, API usage charges, SMS/email/messaging services, app-store developer accounts, and paid plugins or subscriptions may be billed separately.

The client should review renewal costs and third-party terms for services registered in its own name.

12. Maintenance and Support

Delivery does not automatically include unlimited maintenance, new features, hosting, or ongoing support. Post-delivery maintenance obligations will be determined by the relevant agreement.

13. No Physical Shipment

Our software development deliverables are generally digital. Unless specifically agreed, no physical package or courier shipment is required.
